Why use plastic handycrates instead of cardboard boxes?
- Handycrates are ready for use and do not require folding or adhesive tape.
- Handycrates are much stronger than cardboard boxes ensuring your belongings are properly protected. They allow easy stacking without a tendency to give way.
- Handycrates are easier to lift than traditional removal boxes as they have ergonomically sound handles which do not tear.
- Handycrates are more environmentally friendly, as the plastic can be recycled and the boxes have a long lifespan.
- Handycrates are damp-proof.
- Handycrates can be sealed so that your confidential documents are protected against unauthorised inspection.
Why rent boxes if I can get cardboard boxes?
After the move, a large number of boxes are often sent to the archive without being unpacked or they are stored uselessly in office spaces waiting for the next removal. If you rent boxes you can encourage your staff to only take the necessary items, so that less needs to be moved. After the removal you will have a positive incentive to have everything unpacked, so that files are not lost.

Would using a removal company make sense? We can take care of an office removal ourselves?
Moving is a profession in its own right. Recognised removal companies train their staff in handling modern removal equipment. They work much faster than your own staff. Furthermore, they have the expertise to pack, lift and transport furniture and boxes. Any interruptions as a result of the move will be shorter: your staff will be able to continue to carry out their own duties for longer and pick up their routine again sooner. Also, did you ever consider the absenteeism caused by back troubles and injuries? Finally, a recognised removal company is insured against any damage during the removal.
What is the best way of moving my archive?
It is important to consider whether the archive needs to remain accessible during the removal. If so, the shelved files can be moved in Smart Carts, Omni Rollers, Roldos, in roll cages with shelves or security cages with shelves. Suspension files can only be transported in Omni Rollers. This allows you continuous access during the removal. If accessability is less important, you can transport the files by the metre in archive boxes, or per sixty centimetres using handycrates.
Are those long archive boxes not too heavy for lifting?
Indeed they are and there is a reason for that. In order to use archive boxes, you place the first one on a dolly and fill it with all the items on a shelf. You fold the barss inwards and place a second box on top. Having filled the third box you roll the archive boxes on the dolly, to the new workplace of into the removal truck. You need to prevent lifting boxes where possible. Hence there ara roll cages and dollies. If nevertheless lifting is required, do so in pairs.
What is the difference between lateral, frontal and Jalema bars?
The difference between frontal and lateral can be found in the suspension method. When looking at the files you face the front of the maps, they are suspended frontally. If in that situation you face the side of the maps, it is referred to as lateral. Jalema is a specific suspension system; the maps are fitted with rails on which they are suspended. The format of the files does not matter; the bars of the Omni Roller can be adjusted. Folio files are always suspended in the Omni Roller frontally.
Doesn't the equipment take up a lot of space?
All equipment can be stacked and nested. That means that you can reduce the volume of all types of boxes and roll cages. For example, on 1mē you can stack 64 to 80 handycrates or 14 computer boxes, 40 archive boxes or 10 roll cages.
How far in advance do I need to book any equipment?
Equipment can mostly be collected from one of the depots the same day. Delivery of equipment can be arranged mostly the following day. It is of course wise to reserve the equipment once you know what you need.
